Guns n Roses Slot
We don’t want to be over dramatic, but we reckon the Guns n Roses slot. launched by Net Ent of Starburst fame as part of their Rock Out range, blows away the competition in terms of entertainment value. I challenge you to play this game and not have a blast!
We’re no great fans of Guns ‘n Roses music, but hey- the soundtrack REALLY works on this slot. It’s a blast! Add to that some great new innovative features from the Net Ent designers (new tricks seem to be their calling card)- and you have a great little package. Test it out below for free to see what we mean. Of the Rock Out slots we have seen already (Net Ent have also launched a Jimi Hendrix slot and there’s a Motorhead slot on the way), this is the best of the range in our opinion.
Guns n Roses Slot How to Play it
The first thing you’ll notice is the pumping soundtrack. We thought that this might get a bit annoying, but actually we love it. I’m even starting to like “Welcome to the Jungle”, it’s growing on me. Well, I guess NetEnt are famous for their soundtracks- check out the Spaghetti Western theme tune on the Wild Wild West slot, for example. Genius!
On the bottom left of the Guns n Roses slot there is a Set List, so you can request your own song- the whole game is set up to look like a Guns n Roses concert complete with swaying heads in front of you. Choose from Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child of Mine, Paradise City, November Rain or Chinese Democracy.
When you first go in, you’ll notice all the fancy features that have been loaded into this game. The Wild Symbols are the Guns n Roses logos. They can expand across the entire reel.
Bonus Wheel- this is a LP record symbol that can show up on reels 1, 3 or 5 in the base game. They randomly award 3 features- Encore Free Spins, the Crowd Pleaser Bonus and coin wins.
The Crowd Pleaser Bonus is a Pick and Click with 3 stages. You can also win free spins and another go on the Pick n Click. 3 free spins symbols will net you 10 free spins, other combinations get you cash wins and so on.
In the Encore Free Spins bonus, you’ll get 10 free spins. A band member such as Slash may appear as an overlay stacked wild on reels 2 to 4. You can retrigger the free spins from within the round.
Then you have your Appetite For Destruction Wild- an overlay Wild shaped as a Cross that lands randomly. Get this feature, and you could see some nice wins.
Another randomly activated bonus is Legend Spins which gives you 1 Stacked Wild on your 1st spin. And the action hots up from there with re-spins and more Stacked Wilds.
One of our favourite features that always get the blood pumping is the Solo Multiplier. It’s a random multiplier that overlays on the reel like a window and can bump you up to a x4 or even a x10 multiplier on your winning bet line.
The Guns n Roses slot has come from nowhere to become one of our favourite slot games. It’s highly entertaining- a real leap forward in online slot game design. It’s a shame that the other games in the series haven’t quite reached the heights of this one (like the Jimi Hendrix slot- we prefer his music- that game could have been so much better), but you can’t have everything – I guess it all comes down to how well the Net Ent designers work with the companies that control the licensing.
