Microgaming have a strategy of launching big name games (like the Game of Thrones Slot Machine for example). The Terminator 2 Slot sits well within that range, being themed on the blockbuster movie of the same name, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The game sits within Microgaming’s 243 Ways to Win range– where many of their premium slots sit. Compare the visuals with some of their older games like Mermaids Millions and you can start to appreciate how things moved on in slot game development when this game came out.
There are five reels and three rows, with 243 possible winning combinations. You adjust your coin size and bet amount to one that you are comfortable with. It’s an out an out blockbuster movies slot like the Top Gun Slot (also a 243 Ways to Win game, but designed by Playtech rather than Microgaming).
The Symbols
You’ll spot all the main characters from the film plus the scatter (easy to spot- it’s the globe with “Scatter written on it!”) and wilds. There are also spades, diamonds, hearts and clubs. If you land a win, the character will come to life in a hi-res video clip.
Free Spins
The Terminator 2 free spins round is the stand-out aspect to this game – it’s quite innovative.

T-800 Vision

If you are a fan of the movie, you’ll know that Arnie battles it out with the newer terminator (the T-1000) which can morph into other shapes and characters with its liquid metal body (played by Robert Patrick in the movie).

Summary
An excellent job by Microgaming in bringing this Sci-Fi blockbuster to life in the Terminator 2 slot. We particularly enjoyed the innovative free spins round and the T-800 Vision mode.
